PISA.net is the official system to manage animal health adopted by the Portuguese government since 1990 and is the base to create new solutions for any territory. It is already present in Morocco and Botswana.
After two decades of continuous improvement, the time has come for Digidelta to share the accumulated experience with other countries or territories that wish to implement a reliable system to manage animal identification, traceability, health and disease eradication programs. It is a powerful information system specially designed to assist government entities in managing animal health on a given territory allowing easy identification, movement control for individual animals or herds, sanitary classification among other functions.
The original system's base was created to be flexible. It can be adjusted to the requirements of each specific country, regardless of its dimensions. It is a central system used for controlling Animal Health that complies with the specific regulations and requirements of each country or organization responsible for the sanitary control of farms.
It is the Official Animal Health Management System adopted by the Portuguese government since 1990. Created to manage and control not one but dozens, hundreds or thousands of farms on a regional, national, continental or global scale, PISA responds to all demands made by the European Community and international organisations belonging to the sector and complies with the good practices and objectives defined by the IEO – International Epizooty Organisation, that is, “to improve animal health and well-being worldwide regardless of the culture and economic situation of member-countries”.
SNIT.maroc was launched to the public in February 2015 to manage all animal Identification, Health and Traceability in Morocco. The project was originated in an international tender that Digidelta Software won in competition with some of the largest companies operating in the sector.
Digidelta Software supplied, not only the information system, but also Electronic Ear Tags, and RFID readers, training and support.
BAITS is used for Animal Traceability in Botswana. Digidelta Software supplied the system's source code to be adapted to the specific requirements of that African Country.
